"The Baldrige Criteria for Achieving Excellence in Health Care: An Effective Approach to Quality Improvement?" July 22, 2005, with special guest speaker Mark L. Blazey, MS, EdD, President of Quantum Performance Group, Inc. and Former Senior Examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. This course is pending approved for 4.0 AMA Category 1 CME credits.

• UAB Health Services and Outcomes Research Training Program – Catarina Kiefe, PhD, MD, Program Director

This is an institutional training grant T32 from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality to the Center for Outcomes and Effectiveness Research and Education and the Lister Hill Center for Health Policy to support predoctoral and postdoctoral training in health services and outcomes research, with a focus on translating research into practice.
